Memorabilia is Everywhere!

Just look left and then quickly look to the right when you enter the front door, you will immediately realize this is an historic site.

For more than a quarter century Chars has been serving up Blues and Spirits.
Speaking of spirits, let me tell you about the happy and spirited people I meet. "Ms. B" was a real spirited person. She and her business partner had come a long way to hear the blues. "Once we entered we knew we were in the right place". They are real believers now.
Just look at the names on the wall, people who have performed there or people who have been there. There are newspaper articles on the wall describing times gone by. Once you read them you begin to realize those words are just as true today as they were 15, 20, 25 or more years ago. Chars has been spreading good cheer so long that you feel you are attending a family reunion once inside.
Kenneth - the Soul Power Band lead singer really knows how to make a crowd happy. Soul Power Band has been around for years and have had gigs from the White Mountains to Tucson to Flagstaff and all over the Valley. If you want to hear The Soul Power Band go to Chars on Friday and Sunday. Remember, "blues is for lovers" , as I was told!

"The Soul Power Band was putting down the sound!"

"Last time I heard this kind of sound coming from a 5 member band was at the __ Awards show", remarked one guest. Soul Power Band literally lives up to it's name. You can feel the power when you are on the dance floor. This music makes you "move and float" says one patron.

The most powerful word spoken to me was the simple word: wonderful!
If you want to have a good time and spread some good cheer with people of all races, national backgrounds, go to Chars, because at Chars blues lovers are really lovers who like the blues!
